Follow the directions below to adjust your Postini filter settings.

Go to http://login.postini.com and enter your username and password.  Please be sure you are entering [your_username]@firststepinternet.com for your Postini username. 

Click Junk Email Settings

Under Spam Filter:
Each of these categories can be customized to your specifications.  You can try different settings to get the filter to work the way you want it to. The filters are based on a scale of 1 to 5; 1 = Off and 5 = the most aggressive filter setting. You can change these settings to block more of the spam. The spam filter can not always provide 100% coverage for everyone when based on a universal set of filters. If you are still getting junk email after setting your filter strength higher you can send the junk mails to Postini for evaluation, so that they can better tune their filters. The email address to send spam is: spam@postini.com  It is best to send this email as an attachment, which you can do by right-clicking on the email in question and selecting "Forward as Attachment". A similar feature exists in Netscape. For this to work in Microsoft Outlook, you will need to change your attachment settings. Consult your help manual for this program for tips on how to do this.
